For several generations, one family from the Entre-Deux-Mers region took care of 25 hectares of red vines. In 1989, when Madame and Monsieur Mestreguilhem took over the management of the family estate, the vines were on average 25 years old, mainly merlot, planted on well-positioned clay-limestone plateaux.
From then on, this red Bordeaux wine has enjoyed the know-how of the Mestreguilhem family. In 2000, new wineries were equipped with modern technology, better to serve the quality of Château Joinin, with particular care being taken of the environment. Pragmatism and empiricism, passion and meticulous care blend together in traditional wine-making. The subtlety of this marriage gives birth to a delightfully fruity, silky red BORDEAUX wine of high quality.
